Class Descriptions

Chair Yoga

Don’t let the name fool you — this class is not just for seniors. Our Chair Yoga is intentionally crafted for all mobility levels and offers a truly unique movement experience. We spend the first half of class using the chair for balance, strength, and support, while the second half moves to the mat for gentle, fully-supported floor poses using plenty of props. If getting down to the mat isn’t in the cards for you, no worries — we’ve got options to stay fully seated while still receiving the full benefit of class. This practice focuses on foot and joint health, gentle balance training, and even includes subtle coordination exercises to challenge the mind as well as the body. We round it out with guided breathwork, intention setting, and nervous system regulation so you leave feeling grounded, supported, and at ease.

Gentle Candlelit Flow & Stretch

Our candlelit yoga classes are a slow-flow dream — gentle and grounding with just enough strength and balance woven in to leave you feeling strong but soothed. These classes are ideal for beginners or anyone wanting a slower, more mindful practice. Each class begins with an opening meditation to anchor your awareness, followed by a gentle warm-up targeting the hips, hamstrings, and spine. We then move through standing and strength-building poses designed to meet your body where it’s at, offering deeper variations if and when you're ready. We end with calming floor stretches, singing bowls during savasana, and cool cloths infused with essential oils to leave you fully relaxed and restored. Classes are thoughtfully built using Ayurvedic principles — warming the body in the winter and offering more cooling, calming sequences in the summer.

Yoga for Mobility

Perfect for a midday reset, this class is designed to support long-term mobility, joint health, and stress relief. The pace is slower and more intentional, making it an ideal class for beginners, older adults, or anyone recovering from injury or burnout. Expect gentle transitions, breath-based movement, and a supportive environment that welcomes all bodies and experience levels.

Yin Yoga

This class is formulated around the slow, mindful style of Yin yoga. Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues throughout the body. The aim here is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. The postures are heal for prolonged periods of time (2-5 minutes) and are done from seated or supine position on the floor. You'll also be guided through deep breathing techniques.
